Local News: salpulpaherlad.com: "The Mounds Public Library has applied for an $87,000 grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
'The city must match that amount, which we can,' Patrick said. 'If we get the grant, it won't decrease the amount from the sales tax, but it will allow us to do more and have the center ready to go at opening.'
The city should be notified March 3 if the grant is awarded."
