O'Reilly Emerging Technology Conference -- February 9-12, 2004

Librarians tend to only watch the conferences that are geared towards libraries and a lot of that is due to the fact that we don't get paid nearly enough to attend some of those really cool conferences that interest us. One such conference is the O'Reilly Emerging Technology Conference -- February 9-12, 2004. Even though we can not attend there is still a lot we can find out through its web site. I would encourage everyone to check it out. For instance: there is a session dedicated to getting more women involved in IT & CS fields. ---- But wait isn't Libraries & Information Science an IT field? hmmmmmm..... maybe we should clue them into this....
