Congressman Istook Convenes Leading Educators and Researchers to Advance Technology in Learning at Conference Hosted by SRI International: "On Tuesday, May 25, SRI International's Center for Technology in Learning will host a one-day conference -- Advancing Learning with Networked Handhelds: Toward a School-Based Research Testbed.
The conference will be held in Oklahoma City at the Presbyterian Health Foundation Conference Center in collaboration with Oklahoma Congressman Ernest Istook, Oklahoma State Superintendent Sandy Garrett and the Oklahoma Department of Education...Leaders in research and industry, as well as teachers and students, will illustrate the potential of handheld computers in education.
