Forbes.com: Reed Elsevier education arm to buy maths publisher: "June 2 (Reuters) - Anglo-Dutch publisher Reed Elsevier said on Wednesday it agreed to buy closely held Saxon Publishers to expand the range of maths materials offered by its U.S.-based textbook division Harcourt Education...Harcourt is one of the top publishers of educational materials targeted at students from kindergarten to 12th grade. Family-owned Saxon, based in Norman, Oklahoma, specializes in maths, but also has phonics and early childhood learning units."
