Marvin E. McKee Library announces Sandra Marshall has been hired as the Access Services Librarian. Mrs. Marshall will be in charge of many aspects of the library including Curriculum and Textbook Review Center, Circulation, Reference and Serials. Sandie, as she prefers to be called, moved to Goodwell with her family from Muskogee, Oklahoma, to work in her first professional library position.
Mrs. Marshall is a native of the Wichita Falls, Texas area and has previously been employed as a teacher. Graduating from University of North Texas, in August of 2004, Sandie has a Masters in Library Science degree. Traveling, baking, reading and crocheting are her hobbies.
“We are so pleased to have Sandie as an employee and to have the library at full staff.” says Library Director, Evlyn Schmidt.
University faculty and staff are encouraged visit McKee to meet Sandie and welcome her to the panhandle.
Mrs. Marshall will be the Library Faculty-Liaison for Science and Math.
