Since OCLC has announced the
top 1000 titles owned by OCLC libraries a lot of attention will be paid (by religious and political groups on both sides) to #2 on the list The Bible. The funny thing about the OCLC list is that it combines different versions, editions, translations, etc in with their rankings. So the King James Bible will be ranked in with some other translation. That's where this handy little site comes in--the
Online Parallel Bible
Our mission is to increase the visibility and accessibility of the Scriptures online. Our site is designed to get you quickly to the verse, version and site you need. Each of our 31102 Bible Verse Pages is currently titled and formatted with 8 versions listed and direct links to the chapter in 25 versions on 12 separate sites.
And what's interesting is a similar online resource exists for #1
The Census. ;-)
Isn't technology amazing?
