Being a Successful Librarian in the 21st Century: How to Address Professional Development Issues in Today's Job Market is being held Friday, Novemeber 19 in Norman. OK/ACRL & OK/SLA say the following:
Our presenters are Sarah Johnson and Priscilla Shontz who were panelists at the 2002 ALA Annual Conference. They will discuss the important components of the "Sucessful 21st Century Librarian." Sarah Johnson is a librarian and Assistant Professor at the Booth Library, Eastern Illinois University and is webmaster for the web site Library Job Postings on the Internet. Priscilla Shontz is a freelance writer and is webmaster for the web site LIScareer.com.
