Fredericksburg.com - Ghost story: "Hicks, 54, grew up in Texas and Oklahoma and studied English and library science at Oklahoma University. She became interested in storytelling while working as an assistant librarian in a private elementary school in Oklahoma City.
Hicks came to Fredericksburg after earning a master's degree in library science, and she worked for the Central Rappahannock Regional Library until 2003. Besides being a storyteller, Hicks also is an artist. She performs nationally for libraries, schools, festivals, civic groups and professional associations."
