American Indian Festival of Words - Leslie Silko

Leslie Marmon Silko, the first acclaimed American Indian woman novelist, is the recipient of the 2005 Festival of Words Author Award. A special program on March 5, 2005 will be held in her honor at Central Library in Tulsa, OK. Some of her novels include Storyteller, Ceremony and Gardens in the Dunes.
