The Enid News & Eagle
Carmen Public Library has received new books.
Among them is a collection of young adult books and “Following the Harvest,” a fiction work by Fred Harris, a former U.S. senator from Oklahoma.
The library held its monthly story hour Jan. 26 at the school building. Fifteen children and four adults attended. Carmen Cain and Sheryl Gahr read stories. For a craft, the children drew pictures about the stores they heard. Cookies and punch were furnished by Nina Burkes.
