Welcome new to a new Oklahoma Librarian! The Daily Times - Pryor Creek, Oklahoma: "Kim Risner, a Claremore resident, was hired last week on the recommendation of the Library Board.

'After two interviews, the Library Board agrees with the glowing letters of recommendation ...,' the recommendation given to the City Council read.

Risner has a bachelors degree in accounting from Northeastern State University and a masters in library science from Oklahoma University. She most recently has been employed as a library media specialists in Owasso and Tulsa Public Schools. She has also worked in tax accounting, general accounting and purchasing.

Risner will join the Library staff on June 1."
