According to the SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER, TV -- any TV -- harms toddlers, study claims reading, memory adversely affected.
This was on the ALSC discussion elist this week, a recent analysis relies on caregivers' responses to a national survey of about 1,800 children. Children younger than 3 watched an average of 2.2 hours of television a day; the daily average increased to 3.3 hours for children between 3 and 5.
