Pasadena Star-News - Sanders hired to take over as director of libraries: "The four-month search for a new Pasadena library director has ended with the appointment of Jan W. Sanders, the current director of the Spokane, Wash., public library.
Sanders' appointment follows a 10-year stint by previous director Luis Herrera, who stepped down from the post in March to become the city librarian of San Francisco.
