I'm curious to know if the public libraries or school libraries in these areas are planning any special programming in relation to this?
KOTV - The News on 6 - More Than 900 Students Displaced By Katrina Enrolled In Oklahoma Schools: "State schools Superintendent Sandy Garrett says Oklahoma now has 922 public school students who were displaced by Hurricane Katrina.
Garrett says the number of students enrolled in Oklahoma schools increased by 282 during the past ten days. She says 53 of Oklahoma's 77 counties now have students who fled the Gulf Coast because of the hurricane.
Oklahoma County has the largest number of displaced students with 213 and Tulsa County is second with 112. Comanche County has 108 displaced students and Cleveland County has 97. "
