Alva Review/Courier | Alva Library Celebrates a Century of Service

Alva Review/Courier | Alva Library Celebrates a Century of Service:
"From an humble beginning of 75 books in a room in The Congregational Church of Alva, the Alva Public Library has grown to a computerized, three-story building with an annual check-out rate of more than 45,000 books and periodicals.

On Saturday, Dec. 17, the Alva Public Library will hold a centennial celebration from 1 to 5 p.m. Already dressed up for the Christmas season with bright red bows and pots of poinsettias, the library's holiday quilt display will add to the ambience."
