BPL welcomes new librarian

Bartlesville Public Library Blog | BPL welcomes new librarian: "The Bartlesville Public Library is pleased to welcome new librarian Cynthia Montgomery to the staff. Cynthia comes with an extensive background in library and administrative management. Her previous experience includes Cataloger/Database Management Librarian-the University of Tulsa, Director-U.S. EPA Robert S. Kerr Environmental Research Lab Library in Ada, served a Doctoral Fellowship-University of Pittsburg, Librarian-Metropolitan Library System in Oklahoma City, and was an Instructor-University of Oklahoma.

'Cynthia's organizational and management skills are a great asset to this library,' stated Joan Singleton, Director. 'We are excited she is here. She has already made a significant impact on the Local and Family History Department.' Cynthia's goal is to enhance and develop the existing stellar resources that are available in this library. There is a wealth of research material for local history and genealogy researchers already here."
