Library Director, City of Guthrie, OK
The City of Guthrie is accepting applications for the position of Library Director.
The Guthrie Library is a small public library serving the City of Guthrie pop 10,882 and Logan County pop 33,924. Guthrie served as the territorial capital and the first state capital of Oklahoma and remains the county seat for Logan County. The city boasts a large historic district, with the downtown designated as a National Historic Landmark.
The Library Director is responsible for managing, supervising, budgeting and coordinating the programs and services of the library.
Qualifications: Master of Library Science Degree from an ALA-approved university and three years experience in public library work or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a strong working knowledge of computers and public relations.
