All I can say is -- as a individual who proudly declares herself an extreme feminist -- I ADORE the reading mud flap girl.
Of course I also came up with a Stepford Librarian and Info ho t-shirts...so I'm on the fringe of the fringe anyways. After all if we can't laugh at ourselves who can we laugh at?
I think we've reclaimed her. I think she fights against the very stereotyped, objectified woman people in the past have seen her as. She makes me proud.
