World War II: A Day of Living History
Saturday Nov. 3 2007 from 10:00 am until 5:30 pm
Explore the life of a World War II soldier as created by re-enactors of the 45th Infantry Division and associated re-enactment units. See original military equipment, uniforms, period personal effects, vehicles and other memorabilia from the home front, plus interact with re-enactors and watch demonstrations. The program also features a World War II traveling exhibit from the Carl Albert Congressional Research and Studies Center.
This event will be held at Helmerich Library in Tulsa.
