This is an interesting little webpage from Ravenstone Press~ Authors Among Us: Librarians as Children's Writers: "In the fall of 2000, Jerri Garretson, owner of Ravenstone Press and a former children's librarian and author herself, responded to a suggestion from her husband, Peter, that a project to identify children's authors and illustrators who are, or who have been, librarians, would make an interesting web project and presentation subject. " Given I don't know too many librarian/children's writers I can't say how comprehensive this list is--but maybe one of you check it out and post about it via the comments feature.
