Parents shocked by online images viewed by children on library computers

Amon called The Daily Ardmoreite to voice her concern. She did not, however, file a complaint with the police department.

"To be honest, I just didn't know that is what I should have done. I didn't realize they could do anything," she said.

Ardmore Deputy Chief Rickey D. Lawrence said there are state laws and city ordinances that address lewd or obscene material displayed in public. But a check of police records revealed no official complaint about inappropriate computer use at the library has ever been filed.
