Don G. shares this library story from OCALD.
OCALD ARCL Standards Symposium: "OCALD has identified that there is interest in learning more about the ACRL standards among academic librarians in the state. As a result, OCALD and OK/ACRL have jointly planned to co-sponsor a symposium at Oklahoma Christian University on October 14, 2005, to discuss the standards and present on projects and experiences of interest to these groups.
We would like to hear from academic librarians who have experience with the application or incorporation of the ACRL standards into their library policies, procedures, or library-wide/university planning programs. We are interested in presentations that describe specific aspects of implementing the standards in planning and assessment activities for the breakout sessions, so if you have these types of experiences, we would encourage you to submit a proposal to present at the symposium. Even if you don’t plan on presenting, we would like to hear what your specific interests are to help determine the final program schedule. Registration information will be available during August."
