Congressional library gets map of fictional town in musical `Oklahoma!'

Congressional library gets map of fictional town in musical `Oklahoma!': "WASHINGTON You may not realize you've ever even heard of Claremont, Oklahoma. But if you've seen the musical 'Oklahoma!' you have.
That's the town where the musical takes place -- and now the Library of Congress has a map of it. A senior music specialist at the library says the map is among 125 new items in its Hammerstein collection.

It looks like it was handwritten by Oscar Hammerstein. The map shows where the train station is, along with the homes of the main characters in the show.

The new collection also includes a page of possible rhymes for the words to 'The Surrey With the Fringe on Top.' The documents were a gift from Hammerstein's biographer, Hugh Fordin."
