Nominations needed

The Alumni Association of the OU School of Library and Information Studies is seeking nominations for the 2007 Outstanding Alumni Award.

Award criteria are:
• An M.L.I.S. degree from the University of Oklahoma School of Library and Information Studies
• An active interest in the School by the nominee AND/OR
• An effective and innovative contribution to the library profession by the nominee AND/OR
• Contributions to the professional literature by the nominee.

The recipient’s name will be engraved on a plaque kept in the OU School of Library and Information Studies. A certificate of award will be presented to the recipient, and a $50 donation to the Irma Tomberlin Scholarship Fund will be made in the name of the recipient.

Submit the name of your nominee for Outstanding OU School of Library and Information Studies Alumnus along with documentation addressing the above criteria to Shari. Nominations must be received by March 20, 2007.
