Friends of the Sapulpa Public Library, in recognition of our state’s centennial, are providing to citizens an opportunity to meet successful, published Oklahoma authors.
Carol Johnson of Mounds will speak at the library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. A reception will follow. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served by the Friends of the Library.
Johnson’s novel “Everlasting” was honored as a finalist in the Oklahoma Book Award competition. Carol is also the co-author of a non-fiction work regarding autism. She teaches at Tulsa Community College.
Carol will discuss “Everlasting” at the Sapulpa Public Library in the ground-level Frank Hall of the Library. The room is handicapped accessible from the southeast ground level entry doors. Entrance may also be downstairs through the west entry.
For more information contact the library at 224-5624 or Friends at 224-3106.
