The Public Library of Enid and Garfield County’s Brittany Gassner has entered an online voting contest with a reward of $500 of library books. The Librarian Idol contest began April 19, following this year’s Texas Librarian Association’s annual convention, and concludes Sept. 15.
The librarian with the most votes at the conclusion of the contest is awarded the Librarian Idol title and $500 in free books for their library. Fellow librarians, teachers, co-workers, parents, students, and the entire community are allowed to vote in this contest....
