Description: The City of Enid, Oklahoma (Pop. 48,000) invites applications for the position of Head Librarian for the Public Library of Enid and Garfield County. The Head Librarian is a direct report to the Library Director and serves as a member of the Library's Administration Team charged with promoting literacy through the determination of policies and procedures and developing short and long term plans. This position is responsible for a major division of the library including the organization of library materials; procurement of resources; implementation of public relations programs; and development and supervision of employees. The City of Enid seeks a Head Librarian with a Master’s Degree from an ALA accredited institution and two to four years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience and an enthusiastic commitment to the dynamic promotion of literacy and education within the community.
Annual Salary Range: $26,478 - $38,064. Competitive benefits package.
