Library History in Oklahoma

I stumbled upon this Oklahoma Supreme Court Case from 1941. I found it interesting that the man OU named their Main Library after would be involved in a "conspiracy" to get rid of a librarian.
OSCN Found Document:HUGHES v. BIZZELL:
"This is an action by the plaintiff, Ruth Thompson Hughes against the defendants, Dr. Bizzell: President of the University of Oklahoma, and Dr. Patterson, Dean of the Medical School, to recover damages for conspiracy in causing her dismissal as librarian of the Medical School."

You'll have to read the entire case to get the full story.
