A half dozen librarians from the Waupacaarea have posed for the 'Desperate Librarians' calendar. It's to raise money for local libraries. But the women don't expose too much of their Dewey Decimal System.

Large library books are strategically placed to protect their modesty. The models note that while they may appear naked, each was wearing a little something during the photo shot.

The oldest volunteer model is library director Lucie Erickson, who turned 60 last month. She also helped to organize the Desperate Librarians fundraiser."
