Discover what it was like growing up Latino in Oklahoma as Tulsa City-County Library’s Hispanic Resource Center premieres the “Latinos Presentes!” book and DVD.
The first showing is scheduled for 3 p.m. Oct. 21, at Martin Regional Library, 2601 S. Garnett Road. Those attending the premiere event will receive a complimentary copy.
This Oklahoma Centennial Hispanic History Project features oral histories and pictorial essays of Latinos who grew up in Oklahoma during the past 100 years.
Since the main focus of the book and DVD is educational, they will not be for sale. The book will be distributed to public libraries throughout Oklahoma...
